360 Reprographics – Now a part of Phoenix

It is an exciting start to 2023! Bristol-based 360 Reprographics has become part of Phoenix Printing Plates. The amalgamation of the two businesses provides an opportunity for 360’s client base to experience Phoenix’s cutting-edge range of ThermoFlexX Catena-E, Kodak NX, and standard flexographic plate-making systems. They will also have the opportunity to streamline their workflows using Phoenix’s Esko WebCenter portal.

If you are an existing 360 Reprographic client we will be in contact, but rest assured that the existing phone lines and email addresses are still live and will be attended to at Phoenix.

FlexoTech 2022 – A Winning Team

The 2022 FlexoTech Awards were especially exciting for us at Phoenix!

Kingfisher Labels scooped two awards for Best Process Print and Best Newcomer with the Moor Beer Italia Pils label which was printed using Kodak NX Plates from Phoenix!

The judges said: “It was good to see the excellent standard from the newcomers to the awards this year and the winner’s very high standards show that the industry is in very good hands”.

ThermoFlexX Catena-E

Phoenix is proud to unveil our new ThermoFlexX Catena-E.

The ThermoFlexX Catena-E uses the latest technology high-power LEDs to eliminate oxygen effects in flexo plate making. Catena-E provides precise image reproduction and fine relief elements for the highest possible flexo plate quality. Perfect for imaging the finest surface microstructures and dot patterns.

Kodak Certified Partner

We are pleased to announce that Phoenix Printing Plates have now become a Kodak Certified Partner for producing Flexcel NX plates. This proves that our NX plates meet the strict requirements of Kodak and ensure they are produced to the exact quality and consistency expected of us.

Kodak Flexcel Direct – ITR Sleeves

Further expansion has seen the delivery and installation of the Kodak Flexcel Direct sleeve imager enabling us to provide continuous print sleeves up to a width of  1.6m (63″) and a maximum repeat of 1067mm (42″).
